Art Journaling – Fabriano Artistico – Set 2

So here’s the next set of Fabriano pages:

The full text reads: We may not all be beautiful, smart, or talented, but we can all be kind.

this page uses acrylics and the quote comes from a movie trailer I watched. It moved me deeply and made me think for a long time. Here it is.

And here’s the next page:

The full text reads: The best medicine for a rough day is laughter.

I used acrylics and pan pastels on this page.

And here’s the next page:

The full text reads: Embrace imperfection. it’s a sign that you’re not afraid to try new things.

I used pan pastels and acrylics on this one.

And here’s the next page:

The full text reads: It is ok to be afraid, but do it anyway. Yes, you can.

I’ve been wanting to use this stencil for a while, too and wanted to make it look like the person was praying.

Well here we go. That’s the four for this week. More coming next week.

I am creating multiple art journaling pages a week for now. You can read more about it and the book I am using for these pages at the top of this blog post.

  • Oh, Karen!!! These are perfectly lovely!

  • Grace

Your journal pages are lovely. I just ordered pan pastels. Do you spray the or anything when you are done? Do they smudge?

Also, I loved the Moleskine with the weekly to do lists and plastic inserts for art journal pages. Are you still using that format? You have so many projects going! Amazing.

Enjoy the wonder of the season, grace

thank you! Yes, I spray them with workable fixative. they do smudge otherwise.

I am still using the moleskine, the new art journal pages go in there and so to my sketches πŸ™‚ thanks so much for the kind words πŸ™‚

  • The pages are wonderful – full of beauty and truth. And I loved the video. Thanks so much for sharing it.

  • These are all gorgeous! I love your white base. I’ve always been put off art journaling because it’s just too “in your face” for me but yours is much more peaceful πŸ™‚ I was so excited to take your TIME class at BPS but when I tried to register yesterday – before the cut off time – the site would not accept my payment. I e mailed the address provided and attached a screen-grab of the message on the site (saying I could not proceed with payment) and I got a computer-generated e mail that said someone would get back to me within 24 hours, but no-one has πŸ™ I really hope I can still take your class! I was ready to pay but the PayPal wasn’t working…perhaps you can ask someone there to get back to me, thanks πŸ™‚

  • Thank you for sharing your beautiful pages! I needed this quote today: “Embrace imperfection. it’s a sign that you’re not afraid to try new things.” I am SO hard on myself when I work with scissors and glue and even though I know I have done a good job, I can’t help but look at the flaws… I need to whack that negative voice in my head with this quote over and over again until I start having more fun with my creative time and remember that I’m not afraid to try new things. πŸ™‚
