Journey into Collage – Week 17

Page seventeen:

Ok, I’ll admit. This page is super-weird. I don’t even know how to explain it. It uses the gelatos and a LOT of rubons. It’s meant to look like a person is opening up with their arms to the sky. The line says “Stand up and let your soul and heart be seen.”

more next week.

Journey into Collage is a project for 2012. You can read more about it here.

  • πŸ™‚ I don’t think it looks weird! The colour is beautiful and I love the way you’ve used the rub-ons!

I love this Karen, it represents who you are right now and what your feeling in life. It’s soft and gentle like you and you always have an open generous heart. The rubons are the added touch that brings it together in a beautiful way. I love the honesty in this also. LOVE IT!!

HUGS FOR YOU MY DEAR FRIEND!!

I just linked over from the Maya Road blog page, and this is my favorite page so far! All of your pages are beautiful, can’t wait to keep looking. I don’t know how on earth you could think this page is weird, silly you. πŸ˜‰ thanks for sharing these beautiful pages!

Also, I tried doing this same kind of thing last year with a Moleskine, and my pages were much too chunky, I nearly broke the binding and ended up tearing out a lot of empty pages to make more room. Let me know in future posts if you have any tips for me, or maybe I’ll find it in one of your past posts as I keep looking. Thanks again!

  • Oh, I really love this page. You said so much so simply and beautifully!
