Here's the first page of my art journal. I kept telling myself to relax and have fun with it. I went from dark blue to white to symbolize relaxing and slowing down. There's a sheet of kanji in the back on the right side but it's barely visible. And, as promised, a quote from Tao Te Ching:

Rushing into action, you fail.
Trying to grasp things, you lose them.
Forcing a project to completion,
you ruin what was almost ripe.
