so here's the deal. i speak seven languages, but i don't get to practice them often as i only use english during the day. so i decided something good to do would be to learn ten new words a week in all the seven languages as vocabulary is one of the most important and forgettable parts of a language, for me. i tend to remember all the grammar rules, but the words escape my memory immediately. i figured if i put them on the web, other people can use them, too.
i make no guarantees on the accuracy of the information. all i can say is that i do the translations to the best of my ability. if you see a mistake please mail me so i can fix it.
since i already speak english, i try to find related words i might not know if they apply, so the connotations might be slightly different in the english column. click the star at the beginning of the row in the american sign language column to see the sign demonstrated.
