I really really tried. I read 75% of this book and I just could not take it anymore. I know it was listed for the Booker Long list. I know it’s purposefully absurd and ironic and sarcastic and a bunch of other things but man oh man, it was too long on a concept that just didn’t merit this long a book, I’m sorry.
