I have no idea why I decided to read Being Jamie Baker but I guess there was something that pulled me to it because as soon as I started it, I couldn’t put it down. I just wanted to read it. More and more of it. I found it at a time when I was struggling to pick my best read and it was exactly the fun, lighthearted read I was looking for. I’ve never heard of the author and I guess it’s her first.
All I can say is that I really enjoy it and I am glad I randomly picked it up.
Sometimes all you want is a fun read.
Oooo, I think I”ll pick this one up.. Have you ever read “The Help” or “The Literary Guernsey and Potato Peel Pie Society” these books are a MUST!!
