December Daily – Day Three

And here we are for day three. Today was all about visiting Santa.

Here’s the spread:

left side is photos from the crafts and David’s photo with Santa:

right side is some words and the photo with both kids, as you can see Nathaniel was not a fan!

and on the back, I put our family photo from today:

And that’s it for day three.

    Karen,

Your work is so BEAUTIFUL!!!! I absolutely love your free form style, and I LOVE your stitching.

I am trying to figure out how you’re stitching your photos to your pages. Isn’t the stitching showing on the back side of your pages? How are you covering the stitching? How are you approaching this? Also, isn’t it difficult to manuever your book as you sew around the photos with your machine?

Any tips will help! I still haven’t started my Dec. Daily album, and I need to start quickly! Thank you for your inspiration!

thank you so so much for your kind wrods!! In some cases (like today) i stitched on the photos before I adhere. In other cases I stitch on the book directly and not care about the other side. and yes it’s a PITA to maneuver the book 🙂

  • I really love the stitching :o) I’m wishing I hadn’t stuck pages back to back first because it’s stopping me from stitching where I want to!

i know exactly what you mean! I have the same problem on this page. i sometimes stitch before I adhere. Other times I just create stitch marks on the other side and simply not care!! 🙂

  • He is not the first little one I have seen not being a fan of Santa today:)
Love how you did the title.
