The Briars by Sarah Crouch

I loved this book from the first page. I loved Annie Heston. She’s such an unusual character and I love that she’s so unique and strong and knowledgeable. I loved the romance and the suspense. I loved all the characters in this town and how the setting was almost a character of its own, coming alive.
Crouch’s writing is high quality, flowing, and the story hooks you in and doesn’t let you go all the way to the end.
