you are the one constant in my life

This is a layout I made for My Mind’s Eye’s blog for February.

And the journaling says:
when i look back upon the last 18 years of my life, all my twenties and thirties, the one constant throughout has been you and your love. Your kindness, your smile, your hugs. The one thing I could rely on. The one thing that stood by me no matter what. I am so grateful for you and I love you madly.

I love my life with my boys

This is a layout I made for My Mind’s Eye’s blog for April.

And the journaling says:
Many people ask me if I wish I had a girl. I guess being the mom of two boys must make me want to have a little girl but I must admit that I really don’t. I love my life with my boys and I just adore how much they make me laugh every day. Wouldn’t have it any other way.

And the journaling says:
My dear boys, I am so excited that you are both finally n school. I love going to school and I can’t wait to share all the school days with you as you go through it too. There’s nothing as magical and learning new things and being with your peers all day long. I found it to be such a special time in my life and I am so excited for you. And I love to see your smiley faces going to school.

The sweet moment of relief and gratitude

This is a layout I made for My Mind’s Eye February newsletter.

And the journaling says:
After you cried so much when we dropped David off on is first day of school i was very worried that your first day of school would be a disaster. I worried and worried. As we walked into the room, you saw this basket of cars and immediately began to play. When I started saying goodbye you were sad but only until you realized you got to stay. Then all was good again. I am so very grateful that you love school so much.

Yet Another Perk of Working At Home

This layout is for Write.Click.Scrapbook’s April Gallery. The theme is to scrap “I grateful for …”.

Journaling Reads:
There are many great things about being able to work at home. One of them is that I can take a fifteen minute break and set up a table full of stamps for you two to play with and then I can sit next to you and do my work while you create and play and giggle and if you need help i am right here. I am so grateful to get to work from home so I can see both of you growing up.

Never be too scared to explore and question everything

This is a layout I made for My Mind’s Eye for winter CHA.

And the journaling says:
My sweet boys One of the things I learned as I got older is that it’s important to explore as much as you can. Follow all your interests. Never be too scared and don’t give up too soon. You never know what will end up being the thing that fills up your soul and if you get scared to explore you will miss out on living life in the best possible way. So go down every path. Ask questions. Embrace life fully and wholeheartedly.

You sure know how to be so dramatic if you don’t get what you want

This is a layout I made for My Mind’s Eye for winter CHA.

And the journaling says:
Little Nathaniel you are growing up and learning new things every day. One of these things is how to get your way more often. You’re figured out that it breaks our heart to see you cry so when you want something and don’t get it you immediately cover your face and break into tears. We all know it’s fake because if you get your way they magically dry up. But even as we know you
re manipulating us we love you so much that we often give in.

Nothing Gives me as much joy as watching you laugh together

This is the one a layout I made for My Mind’s Eye January newsletter.

And the journaling says:
There are so many things that I love about you two but at the very top of my list is seeing the two of you laugh together. Even though these aren’t the highest quality photos I’ve ever taken I just love everything about them. I love how you’re lying on the couch together and laughing with so much joy.The two of you just light up every single of my days. I love you.

David Today You Made Me Cry

This layout is for Write.Click.Scrapbook’s January Gallery. The theme is to scrap “today…”.

Journaling Reads:
Today i went out to the movies with my friend. When i came home there were two notes on my bed. “I love you very much. I really missed you and I had a bad night and I peed like you told me to.” they said. They immediately made me cry. When I was a little girl, I left notes for my mother when she went out so it was so wonderful to see you do it for me. It made my heart swell and I wanted to wake you up and give you a huge hug. I love you so much.

Welcoming Daddy

This is the one a layout I made for My Mind’s Eye December newsletter. There are step by step instructions in the newsletter.

And the journaling says:
Your greatest moment in any day is when Daddy comes home. There’s so much joy and jubilation. On this day, we were coming back from the playground and Daddy met us halfway. You were so very thrilled and excited to see him that you ran right up to him and hugged him super-tight. He’s one lucky man, your daddy, He’s so very loved by all of us. And we are so lucky to have him in our lives.

My family is my Greatest Joy

This is the one of the layouts I made for My Mind’s Eye for November. My word for the month was family.

And the journaling says:
Each time I wonder if choosing to work at home and prioritizing that was a good choice, all I have to do is look at a picture of the three of you to remember that you are the greatest joy I’ve ever experienced and no job can ever take the place of the happiness you bring into my life. It’s tough to balance it all sometimes but you make it all worthwhile. I am so grateful for you.
