Journey into Collage – Week 11

Page eleven:

And another spread inspired by Body Restoration. All collage elements are by Melody Ross. I added tissue paper in the background. The text says “Make sure to do what feeds your soul and heart everyday.” Here’s what’s on my list: creating, walks outside, trying new things, reading, time with friends, serving others, learning new things, being grateful, reaching out, time alone, seeking light, hoping, believing, and working on dreams.” I think it’s crucial to take time every day to fill your soul. I try to take time to figure out what fills my soul.

more next week.

Journey into Collage is a project for 2012. You can read more about it here.

  • Hi Karen. I stop by your blog often and honestly I don’t think I’ve ever commented. How sad is that. So sorry because you have endlessly inspired me with your open, honest, and real sharings of life and inspiration. Your post today really touched me – much needed words at this time for me. I thank you for sharing this beautiful page. I needed it more than you could ever know.

Karen, I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, your style! It’s “soooo” cool! Thanks for your colorful blog.

Oh, by the way, you’ve inspired me to try journaling/scrapping on a Moleskine journal. I just finished my journal. Would you like to see it? I don’t have a blog, but if you drop me an email, I will forward you some pics of my finished Moleskine.
