Art Journaling – Fabriano Roma Set 8

Here are more pages I did during November:

The full text reads: Yes you are creative. No one can take that from you.

And here’s the next page:

The full text reads: Give yourself permission to SOAR.

And here’s the next page:

I dislike this page but I love the thought on it.

The full text reads: All that happens to you is an opportunity for growth.

And here’s the next page:

The full text reads: Happiness is contagious. Hug freely.

And here’s the next page:

The full text reads: The biggest difference between you and those with “talent” is practice. A lot of it.

Well here we go. More coming next week.

I am creating multiple art journaling pages a week for now. You can read more about this project here. This set uses the Fabriano Roma papers.

You might have mentioned this in another post, but I am wondering how you store the loose pages?

  • Hi Karen,
I don’t know if you remember me, but I was 2h Design/Lauren in your ‘Finding Your Way’ class last year. I was really struggling with whether or not I even like scrapbooking in the first place. I thought I had answered that question recently – it was ‘no.’ But I never felt satsified and I’m doing some intensive work right now on taking care of myself and something that keeps coming up for me is art and creativity. Somehow I find my way back to your website last week and voraciously read your art journal page posts. This weekend I made my first art journal page (using scrapbook supplies I have) and I LOVED IT!!! I had fun doing it and I like to look at the finished product, which I’ve glued into my journal. What a concept, by the way, turning my journal into a journal, planner, calendar, art journal. LOVE it! So I still may not have the answer to scrapbooking specificially, but I’ve finally reached a place where I’m willing to let art into my heart without judgement in the form of an art journal page. Thank you for sharing your work – it’s incredibly inspiring!
    xoxo, Lauren Hagerman
