Here’s the second and last set I used with the Bienfang paper canvas. I do still have a few left but I won’t be using them for now. Don’t like this paper one bit.

I layered two stencils for this but I don’t like the colors. It just didn’t turn out the way I envisioned.

I love the colors but still hate the paper. So I finally just decided to stop using it.

Starting from here onward, I am using Fabriano Roma paper and 5.25×8.25 so I can glue into my Moleskine.
I think these are pretty, especially the girl. Not sure what it is but I like that one, her hair color is great. Good for you trying this and finding out whether it will work for you or not. Have fun with your new paper that you love so well.
Don’t you think the paper can easily drive or derail your entire project? I have piles of papers I am going through to find my faves as well. Acrylics & gessos & watercolors all different weights, sizes, lbs. !!!
I think you are a brilliant artist however…you could paint on the back of envelopes and it would be sweet~

I do enjoy the added texture these papers give, but can understand how some papers may just not suit you. Loving all of the vibrant colors you’ve been using.

I just saw your video on creative jumpstart… And you ar so right!!! I am a person who thinks, oh I cant do that, I cant draw and al that kind of stuff.
And there is always an excuse not to go and try to make art… the laundry, the children, to tierd, or just not worth it to sit down just for a couple of minutes.
Sinds 2 weeks I do have my own desk in my bedroom and all my suplies are out and ready to grab, now I just have to go and sit down there.
Thank you so much for these two tips. So simple but oh so true.
