Catalyst One Hundred and Thirty-Four is: Tell us about a friendship you currently have .
My journaling:
I have many good friends and I know I will have more in my lifetime but none of them will ever measure up to you. you have always been and will always be my very best friend in the whole world. The only person who’s seen me in my ups and downs and still loves me with all of his heart and accepts me for who I am. I am so very grateful that we have found each other. I love you madly.
This is the end of creative therapy. I have created 135 pieces of art for this wonderful project and I am very proud of it.
This is one of the projects I did for Authentique Paper for CHA Summer.

Journaling Reads:
I don’t like a noisy house and with two boys it’s quite hard to keep things quiet but i try anyway. And many times a day you just run around and squeal and make loud noises despite my protests. The only exception for me is when I hear your laughter. No matter how loud it is I can never ever get enough of that. The giggles truly make my day every single time. I love you so much. (My sweet boys I want you to now that I will always love you but even more so you will always have each other.)

Journaling Reads:
My wonderful boy, in the last couple of weeks you’ve really started to express your thoughts and tell me about them and you share your ideas, wishes (and sometimes demands.) Today, you found this little game piece and said “choo choo” while pointing to it. I love to hear you talk but even more I love to know what you’re thinking, I love you so much.
And some details:

I used the template in the kit to ink a tag and create the photo corners.

This wallet was altered for Maya Road CHA Summer show.

I sprayed the whole thing and then just embellished it with flowers and canvas and trims and added my favorite mantra to it.

This is one of the projects I did for Pink Paislee for August. It highlights their awesome mistable alphabets! You can see the post here.

i’ve always known that you look like your daddy. you two have the same coloring. But when i look at this photo, I am awestruck by how much you really look like him. The same tall, slender body, long arms, and even the same smile. I love seeing the two of you side by side like this smiling, happy and holding hands. I am so happy that you look like your daddy. I love both of you so very very much my son.

Journaling Reads:
My sweet boy, a few days ago you were sitting on the kitchen floor and playing with your cars. I came to sit next to you and showed you how to race them so we’d pick two, say “ready?, set, go!” and throw two at the same time to see which won. You absolutely loved the game and now play it nonstop. Even when you’re not playing, you love to just scream “ready? go!!” which makes us all laugh. May 2011.

Journaling Reads:
My sweet boys I love watching the two of you get along and I am so deeply thankful for both of you. I have many wishes for each of you individually but my biggest wish for both of you is to always stick by each other and lean on each other. You are lucky to be brother and never ever take that for granted. I love you both so much.

Journaling Reads:
My sweet little boy, today we got a box of goodies for mommy, but the most exciting part of the package for you was when I flattened it out and then put it over your head. You thought it was the best thing ever and played with it for hours, laughing the whole time. I just kept thinking that it’s always those tiny moments that make life so very full of joy. I love you.
And some details:

This canvas was for the Maya Road booth at CHA. I used tissue paper, pan pastels, and several wonderful Maya Road products.

Journaling Reads:
There are some moments in a mom’s life that surpass all dreams and hopes. Seeing this moment of you reading to your little brother was one of mine. I want to make sure to remember it forever. I will cherish this so much and I am so very grateful for you my amazing son.
