Weekly Art Journal – Weeklong for June 6

This weeklong page was originally inspired by this amazing doodling except mine sucks. And then I added some watercolors but I was still really unhappy with the page.

So once I started the week, I told myself I would just add more doodling. For the numbers and everything else. I wanted to challenge myself not to use anything but doodles.

here’s the left page:

And the right side:

And here’s the filled page:

I really do not like this one. It’s definitely my least favorite of all the pages I’ve ever done.

Weekly Art Journal is a weekly project for 2011. You can read more about it here. And you can find out more about the weeklong daily journaling here.

  • WOW! All I can say is WOW! I’m just now playing a little catch up on my favorite blogs and I have to say I think this is beautiful. I love all the doodles, and colors. (You have more talent in your little finger, than I have in my whole BODY! lol) It’s unique, and what a wonderful way to journal! Thanks for sharing!

  • I took a really interesting class once called Embrace Imperfection. 🙂
I love this page. Your doodles are always so cute.

he hee, someone’s calling me on it! Look I embraced it. I didn’t hide the page or rip it out. I kept it, i went with it, i tried even when I didn’t like it and I shared it with all of you. it’s still not my favorite but I don’t regret trying, it’s part of the process 🙂

I took that class too! I believe it’s a matter of opinion, since the final page looks cute.

  • I also signed up for that same class – me I say its perfect cause its done. Which is more than my art journal which still sits empty 6 month after I purchased it.
